Consultation

Free

A brief phone call to see if we’re a good fit, with no obligation.

Sliding scale

Cost shouldn’t keep anyone from getting care. Reduced fees are available based on financial need. Ask about the sliding scale during your free consultation.

Insurance & superbills

True Arc is an out-of-network provider and doesn’t bill insurance directly. On request, you’ll receive a superbill through your secure Client Portal: a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Questions to ask your insurance company:

  • Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits?
  • What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much have I met?
  • What percentage of a psychotherapy session is reimbursed?
  • Is pre-authorization required for telehealth?

Payment & cancellations

Payments are handled securely through Ivy Pay, a HIPAA-secure payment service built for therapists. Before your first session, you’ll get a text inviting you to save a credit, debit, HSA or FSA card. Your card is charged after each session, so there’s no handling payment during our time together.

Cancellation policy: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a late-cancellation fee of $75.

Your right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under the federal No Surprises Act, if you don’t have insurance or aren’t using insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care. You can ask for one before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your estimate, you can dispute it.
